Why we do what we do...

There is an overall lack of financial education and preparation in our educational system; more so in poor, underserved cities in this country. “A complex recent study of the persistence of the racial gap in financial literacy reported that the gap lingers even with equal access to financial literacy education” (Daniel Mollenkamp, 2022). In an effort to bridge that wealth gap, its imperative to begin with building financial education and preparation programs for people of color, more specifically children.
